03Advertising and tracking technologies

We advertise on Meta platforms and use the Meta pixel, together with website analytics, to understand which adverts and pages lead to sign-ups and purchases. These tools set cookies or similar identifiers and may share limited event data, such as the fact that a page was viewed or a form was submitted, with the platform.

Where required, these are only loaded after you consent through our cookie banner. You can withdraw consent at any time by changing your cookie settings or by using your browser and device controls.

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site from working.

06International transfers

Several of the providers above are based in the United States. Where personal information is transferred outside the UK or the European Economic Area, we rely on the transfer mechanisms available to us, which include adequacy decisions where they exist and standard contractual clauses with the UK addendum where they do not.

  • Enquiries and free training sign-ups: while you remain subscribed, and for up to 24 months after your last engagement with our emails.
  • Customer records: for the duration of your access, and afterwards for as long as we are required to keep financial records, which is currently six years.
  • Marketing consent records: for as long as we rely on the consent, plus a reasonable period afterwards as evidence.

To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. We will respond within one month. There is no charge unless a request is clearly unfounded or excessive.

09Marketing emails

Every marketing email we send has an unsubscribe link at the bottom, and it works immediately. You can also reply to any email and ask to be removed. If you have bought from us we will still send the emails needed to deliver what you paid for, because those are service messages rather than marketing.

10If you are in the United States

We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising in the sense used by California law. Residents of California and other states with similar laws may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal information by emailing us, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising those rights.

Our products are sold to adults. This website is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

13Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our business or the law changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be notified by email where we hold your address.
